Traffic Flow Map

• Enter Maize South Elementary School off of Silver Fox; we do not allow left-hand turns onto the property.
  • If you are traveling east, you will need to drive past our entrance and utilize the roundabout next to Maize South Middle School to turn around and travel west. Once you are traveling West, you may take a right-hand turn onto the property.
• Once on the property, all cars will turn right and position themselves in one of two options, depending on availability when you arrive:
  • The first 30 vehicles will form one extensive main line in front of our building and along the perimeter of our East parking lot.
  • If the line is complete, cars may begin filling the stalls. Stall one is located close to Silver Fox and the farthest from the building.
  • The first car in each stall will drive to the front of the cones and park. The vehicle at the front of the stall will be the leader.
  • Each leader will move their stall line into the back of the extensive main line.
  • Stall one is the first line to move, followed by line two, and so on, until all stalls have emptied in the order they arrived on the property.

Afternoon pick-up requires a QR code. Please contact your child's classroom teacher if you need a QR code.

• Scan the QR code with a QR reader app or your phone's camera immediately after parking. It is vital to the success of our process that QR codes are submitted in the order that cars arrive in our line.
• Once you scan the QR code, your child's name is added to our parent pick-up list, and we'll have them waiting along the sidewalk where our staff monitors students.

We have an attendant at the front of our line that can assist those without a QR code.

• If you do not have a QR code, remain in the line until you reach our attendant.
• The attendant will ask for your child's last name and grade. Then, a radio announcement will be made to the attendant inside the building to have your child join you. Please remain in line and let our attendants know if you require assistance throughout our process.

We will have attendants on location once all stalls are full to help direct new vehicles entering the property to open stalls. Please trust our process, and we'll be able to keep our students safe. Cars must pull forward as you move through our lines to close gaps between vehicles.

Students should only exit and enter the car from the sidewalk. Drivers need to remain in their vehicles at all times.

• There is no other personal information attached to this QR code. It simply sends a response to office staff that a student was picked up and the time of pick-up.
